Quit Smoking Programme
The Facts and Figures:
Smoking tobacco is a definite cause of cancer as well as cardiac, vascular and chronic lung disease. Hence governments and health organisations continue to step up their efforts in an attempt to eradicate the problem.
Every year, more than 50,000 people lose their lives prematurely in Spain as a result of tobacco smoking. Tobacco is an established cause of 10 different types of cancer; 90% of cases of chronic bronchitis; 95% of lung cancer and 30% of coronary heart conditions. In addition to this, it produces cancer of the oesophagus; cancer of the bladder, of the larynx and mouth. For every 1,000 deaths in Spain, 151 are linked to tobacco (15%). Tobacco smoking is also harmful for those in our midst who are obliged to become passive smokers themselves.
The healthiest decision a smoker can make is to stop once and for all thereby reducing risks associated with tobacco such as high blood pressure; risk of cancerous disease of the heart, respiratory system and osteoporosis. Quitting smoking will improve the oxygenation of the blood and its circulation. It will reduce all kinds of respiratory symptoms such as coughing, expectoration (ridding the throat and lungs of phlegm); dyspnoea or difficult breathing.
Improve the quality of your sleep and bring about a really noticeable difference to the quality of your skin, your hair and your breath. Staining on your teeth and fingers; the smell of smoke on your clothes, in your home and car - all of these will disappear.
You will finally be able to save money! For example, if you smoke 20 a day, you are spending approximately 1,300 euros a year on cigarettes!! How much do you spend a year??
On the social front, you will set a good example to your friends and family, plus you will have a considerable impact in terms of creating a healthier home and working environment.
Hypnosis is one of the most effective ways to quit smoking. All you need to bring with you to your hypnotherapy session is a total commitment to wanting to stop the smoking habit for good.
Nicotine patches, chewing gum, electronic cigarettes, bioresonance, etc., all may give temporary relief from the smoking habit, but only by changing the way you think about smoking and the triggers associated with it, can you hope to gain a permanent change that will last you the rest of your life.
